The auditor fee
You pay an approved quality auditor directly, and you choose them. Verification audits are a desktop review and sit at the lower end. Certification audits cost more and rise with the number of registration groups, sites, staff and participants.
Quotes vary meaningfully between auditors, so get two or three. Mid term audits at roughly the eighteen month point are a separate, smaller fee.
Consultant fees
Consulting fees depend on what you need. A document only package is the lightest option, while end to end registration support covers scope advice, tailored policies and procedures, self assessment, lodgement and audit preparation. Book a consultation and you receive a written quotation for the scope you actually need.
Be cautious with very cheap template bundles. Auditors recognise generic documents immediately, and rewriting them after a non conformity costs more than doing it once.
The costs providers forget
Budget for these before your first invoice arrives.
- NDIS Worker Screening Checks for every risk assessed role
- Public liability, professional indemnity and workers compensation insurance
- First aid, CPR, manual handling and medication training where your groups require it
- Police checks, working with children checks and qualification verification
- Software: CRM, rostering, incident register and secure record storage
- Corrective action work if the audit finds non conformities
What actually moves the number
Scope, staff count, sites and readiness. A tight scope registered properly is consistently cheaper than a broad one repaired later, and readiness is the variable you control most.
